Dermaplaning is the must have, advanced facial treatment in the beauty industry.
Hugely popular with celebrities such as, kim kardashian, victoria beckham, katie price & more.
Using a fine scalpel blade at a 45 degree angle, dermaplaning is an intense form of exfoliation. It removes the dead skin cells along with all of the fine vellus hair (peach fuzz) from the face & neck, revealing a brighter, smoother complexion. Dermaplaning also helps to remove any stubborn blackheads, reduce fine lines, wrinkles & blemishes.
There is no downtime with Dermaplaning like there is with many other advanced facial treatments, but we always insist you protect your face with spf 50 after a dermaplane to protect your skin. Having eliminated the velus hair (peach fuzz) from your face means that your make up will glide onto your skin, ensuring you don’t have that ‘caked on’ kind of look which can often be noticed when wearing foundations. Perfect for special occasions & everyday make up wear.
The procedure & costing…
The treatment includes a double cleanse, toner, dermaplane, glycolic peel, mask, moisturiser & spf 50 coverage. This treatment should take you around an hour & cost anywhere between £45-£85 (prices dependant on location in UK).

Commonly asked questions….
Does it make the hair on your face come back any worse?
Absolutely not! The hair removed on your face is fine, velus hair, unlike the hair under your arms or on your legs. The structure of the velus hair follicle does not change.
Can you have it done if you suffer with acne?
While dermaplaning can’t be performed on skin with active acne, it will prevent clogged pores and pimples from forming. By removing the top layer of dead skin cells, dermaplaning prevents the cells from getting trapped inside your pores. Less dead skin means fewer breakouts. By gently exfoliating the skin, dermaplaning also makes it easier for acne treatments and serums to penetrate into the pores to prevent and treat breakouts. Always speak to your therapist if you’re unsure.
Is there a certain type of clientele with Dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is beneficial for mature skin, which tends to have a buildup of dead cells as cellular turnover slows down with age. But it is also a firm favourite with younger clientele, by removing the dead skin cells it ensures they remain fresh faced, blemish free and of course hair free!
Does it hurt?
Dermaplaning is entirely painless! In fact it’s an incredibly relaxing treatment when you’re in the right hands!
